Applying wall coverings to structured walls

Applying wall coverings to structured walls

In many homes and office buildings you encounter them: structured walls.

The top layer of the wall might be plaster or sprayed concrete and feels rough. If you want to refresh these types of walls with a new colour or motif, you'll usually have to paint them. But with paint you have much less ability to give the wall exactly what you thought about. Wallpaper is much more flexible in this regard, but it can usually not be applied to such a structured surface. Or can it?

Wall coverings for difficult surfaces

Severe surfaces such as a structured wall or porous surface are usually not suitable for wallpaper. The substrate is simply too rough to paste the wallpaper. And that's a pity, because with wallcoverings like wallpaper you can give a room exactly the look you're looking for. So to provide this effect Neschen has developed Performance wall-grip and , a wall film with a super strong glue developed especially for this type of hard-wearing substrate. Wandbekleding op gestructureerde muur - detail

Wallcovering with good grip

To put wall cladding on a particleboard, plasterboard, concrete or spack, you need a lot of adhesive. The material that meets this condition is the Performance Wall-grip wallcovering. It is a self-adhesive foil with extra strong adhesion, which can even remain on porous substrates.
